History of EuroALMA Conferences
The success of ALMA in North America led to the development of a European counterpart with the same mission. The first EuroALMA meeting in 1998 was the product of the work of several people, but Dr. Karina Langseth and Dr. Thomas Lyttle were the organizers whose efforts made the first meeting a success.
